Binocular Department
Whether you are in a meadow attempting to spot an elusive bird, in the deep woods scouting for the next big Buck or in the middle of surveillance job we have a Binocular to fit your needs and budget. What in the world do the numbers 4x42 or 8x21 mean in the Binocular Descriptions? The 1st number is the magnification power of the binocular, for example if the rating is 4x - This means it is 4 times the power of the naked eye. The Second number is the size of the objective lens in millimeters, the larger the number the bigger the lens. Generally the larger the objective the more light gather ability , hence a brighter view. Of course the quality of the lens is one of the most important features to consider when choosing an optic. For example a high end optic with an objective of only 30mm may be much brighter than a Mart-Mart with 58mm objective. Our inventory includes night vision from ATN ( American Technology Network) and binoculars from Burris, Bushnell, Konus, Leupold, Nikon, Simmons, Steiner, Tasco and Zeiss. We offer many binoculars at valued prices to fit any ones optic budget- Binoculars as low as $13.95. Binoculars, like the telescope, took centuries before they were developed into your present day spy scopes. Its name was actually taken from the roots bini which is Latin for “two or double” and ocularis which means “for the eyes”. |
